Overview:
Wastewater Treatment plant for New York City. Main sewage pumps, influent, and effluent gates all use Trident Actuators. This Wastewater plant processes wastewater for Brooklyn, treats the wastewater, then releases the treated water into the East River.

The Result:
Main sewage pumps and influent sluice gates are fail-safe designs due to the critical applications. Trident also has a fail-set actuator for the effluent gates in order to isolate the chamber for service and repairs.
